Pricing depends on site prep needed. Typical range: $1.50-$2.50 per square foot for sod and labour, plus $1-$2 per square foot for site preparation (topsoil, grading). A 1,000 sq ft lawn typically runs $3,000-$5,000 installed.

Avoid foot traffic for the first 2-3 weeks while roots establish. After 21 days you can walk on it normally. First mow is typically at day 10-14 when grass reaches 3-4 inches tall.
Critical first week: water 2-3x daily, 15-20 minutes each. Week 2: 1-2x daily. Week 3: every other day. After establishment: 2-3 deep waterings per week. We provide a detailed written schedule.
Within the first 30 days, we'll replace any dead sod that died from installation issues (poor seaming, rolling, etc.) — included in our service. After 30 days, replacement is at our cost plus labour. Most failures we see come from inconsistent watering in the first 21 days.
Yes — seeding is a lower-cost alternative for larger areas. Takes 6-8 weeks to establish (vs same-day for sod) and requires more consistent watering during germination. We can advise which is better for your site.
